personal work
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 03:00AM A few of my main inspirations (including Chase Jarvis and Nick Onken) both preach personal work. Personal work is the work that you do for yourself, for fun. You get tied up in the hassle of shooting for people enough, you don't really get time to shoot what you want to. If you factor in school and a personal life into the equation, you don't get much time at all. I went out one evening to shoot with the amazing Leah and her just as awesome friend Elisa to shoot some fun stuff around town. These girls braved the cold for the sake of letting me snag a few pictures. What troopers. I remember hearing the phrase , "I can't feel my toes!" more than once.

I had a lot of fun and I hope the girls did too! I'm going to try and get more personal work done in the next few weeks. It's fun, I have no expectations for it, and it's an awesome learning experience for me. Now, I just have to find willing participants...
